Summer drinks a great success as the Business & Property Court celebrates five years in Liverpool

We are pleased to report that the recent LBPCF summer drinks event was a great success and, as well as being very pleasant and well-attended, provided a good opportunity for everyone there to chat with the Sir Timothy Fancourt, the Vice-Chancellor of the County Palatine of Lancaster, HHJ Cadwallader, HHJ Hodge KC, HHJ Wood KC, DJs Johnson and Lampkin, and the President and Vice-President of the Liverpool Law Society.  In addition to our solicitor, barrister, and academic guests, we were also joined by other local professionals with an interest in the BPC in Liverpool.

As well as a celebration, the event has made some useful connections for the generation of new ways of supporting the growth of the BPC in Liverpool.

Thank you to all who attended and helped, and in particular to Karina Champion of Oriel Chambers, Jo Stapley and Joe Elcock of Exchange Chambers, who organised the event.

Thank you also to our sponsors for the evening Oriel Chambers, Exchange Chambers, Atlantic Chambers and the University of Liverpool.

The Bluecoat (pictured) provided a fantastic backdrop, delicious food, and refreshments for the event. Thank you to this lovely venue in the centre of our historic city.
